Terms of Use and Disclaimer

Effective 4 August 2026 Version 1.0 Applies to All site visitors and users Owner Veltrion Laboratories (Pty) Ltd

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of veltrionlaboratories.com (the "site"), operated by Veltrion Laboratories (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/155300/07, a company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa ("Veltrion", "we", "us"). By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

2. What Veltrion is, and is not

Veltrion is a regulatory and market-access company. It coordinates regulatory, representation and market-access work for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology and clinical research organisations operating in African markets.

Veltrion is not a law firm. It does not provide legal services as contemplated in the Legal Practice Act 28 of 2014, does not hold a Fidelity Fund Certificate, and does not operate a trust account. Where legal services are required, clients instruct practising attorneys separately, under a separate engagement and those attorneys' own terms.

Veltrion is not a manufacturer, and is not the marketing authorisation holder for any product unless expressly appointed as such in writing under a specific mandate. Where Veltrion coordinates a local regulatory role, it does so with appropriately licensed local partners in the relevant market.

3. Information only, not advice

Content on this site is general information about Veltrion and its services. It is not legal, regulatory, medical, financial or other professional advice, and must not be relied on as such. Nothing on the site is an offer or a guarantee of any regulatory outcome, approval, timeline or cost.

Regulatory requirements, pathway availability, authority fees and review timelines vary by country and by product class, and they change. Any regulatory position stated on this site is general and current only as at the date shown. Applicability to a specific product is determined through a scoped engagement, not from this site.

4. No relationship formed by the site

Using the site, submitting an enquiry, or corresponding with us does not create any advisory, agency, representation, mandate or other professional relationship between you and Veltrion. A relationship arises only under a separate written engagement signed by both parties.

5. Fees and payment

Where an engagement involves a fee, deposit or milestone payment, that amount is held and applied in accordance with the payment terms of your signed engagement letter, and is received into Veltrion's own commercial banking arrangements.

Veltrion does not hold client funds in trust or escrow. Amounts paid to Veltrion are not held under the Legal Practice Act 28 of 2014, do not attract Legal Practitioners' Fidelity Fund cover, and are not subject to any attorney trust account protection.

6. Third parties and licensed local partners

Specialist regulatory, quality and clinical work may be carried out by contracted delivery partners engaged for a specific market and product. Veltrion remains the client's counterpart under the mandate. Nothing on this site should be read as a representation that Veltrion itself holds a licence, registration or authorisation that is in fact held by a partner.

7. No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its content is complete or current.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veltrion is not liable for any loss or damage, including indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The site links to external resources, including regulatory authorities, for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability.

10. Intellectual property

The Veltrion name, logo, content and design are owned by Veltrion or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or used without written permission.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may amend these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the effective date shown above.
