How we collect, use, share, and protect personal information — in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
This policy is issued by Veltrion Laboratories (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/155300/07), a company incorporated in South Africa with its place of business in Cape Town ("Veltrion", "we", "us", "our"). For the purposes of POPIA, Veltrion is the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy.

This policy applies to personal information we process through this website (veltrionlaboratories.com), including our intake form and consultation booking, and through related correspondence and engagements. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, which operate under their own policies.
We collect only the information we need to assess requests, deliver engagements, and run our business lawfully:
We do not knowingly collect special personal information or the personal information of children through this website.
We process personal information on one or more of the lawful bases recognised by POPIA: your consent; the conclusion or performance of a contract with you; compliance with a legal obligation; and our legitimate interests (and those of our clients and partners) in operating and growing a professional services business, balanced against your rights. Where we rely on consent — for example, when you tick the consent box on our intake form — you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us, without affecting processing already carried out.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted operators and parties who help us run our business or where the law requires, including:
Operators process personal information on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and only for the purposes we specify.
Some of our operators (for example, form and hosting providers) may store or process information outside South Africa. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we do so in accordance with section 72 of POPIA — that is, to recipients subject to laws, binding rules, or agreements that provide an adequate level of protection, or where another lawful ground for transfer applies.
As required by section 19 of POPIA, we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard personal information against loss, damage, and unauthorised access — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, reputable service providers, and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to address any incident promptly. If a security compromise affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by law.
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, or as required by law (for example, financial and tax records are generally retained for at least five years). When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.
Subject to POPIA, you have the right to:
